I did this with the family last year, it was a really well done drive through light show, highly recommend.

Yo Austin, we heard you liked to drive so drive to the driving place and you can drive around before driving home!

All the fun of driving to the trail of lights without have to wait in line!

I am not so sure about that not waiting in line bit. I think I ranted a few months ago about the roads into and out of COTA not being upgraded although 10+ years ago when they were trying to get it off the ground they swore it would all be updated. It’s the same shitty roads in and out that there were from the start and I honestly feel bad for the people who live in that area and have to deal with that. I went to a concert a couple of months ago, and it took a lot of idling and inching forward just to get out to the main roads. Miserable experience, which is why I don’t go to MotoGP events any more out there. So I would be curious to see if this event is smoother. I would be happy to be wrong about this.

Last few times I’ve been to the track it’s been fine, they have lanes blocked and cops directing. When MotoGP and F1 bring in record numbers, yes it can be tough getting in and out at peak times. I went to F1 this last year, showed up during the Porsche races in the morning and I drove right into parking easily. Remember there are two entrances, a few extra miles can save you a ton of waiting during peak.
