I have never seen a pasta salad that doesn’t use tomatoes in it. Either that or they’re hidden really well, as I can see a tomato in the background and its tomato seeds in the salad.

What ingredients did you use to make this? My sister is quite fussy and doesn’t like raw tomatoes, so it’s made finding a good summer cold salad difficult.

I ate this hot but I also cooled it down and ate it as a pasta salad.

Simple recipe, I diced up a carrot, broccoli, celery, bell pepper, mushrooms (what I had on hand) and then steamed them in a pot in some water. The mushrooms basically shrivled up and let out a mushroom water. I added lemon juice, salt, nutritional yeast, a splash of soy sauce, fresh dill, fresh rosemary to this and a little more water and stirred to combine. Then I just added a corn starch slurry to turn it into a “gravy” and mixed with the pre-cooked pasta.

Can use any combo of vegetables you like as long as they are cut the same size

Great, thank you! I think I have a vague idea on how to proceed.

Also, there’s that tomato in the background again, haha.
