      My exact thoughts…

I’m not sure this is better than the white attempt.

The 2022 and 2023 liveries have been absolutely awful. And I’m a McLaren fan. 2021 was the last decent livery and even that was pretty whelming.

The Monaco tribute livery has been the best one in recent memory. I’m not enthusiastic about this one.

Or replaced the orange with red. But I think full chrome would’ve been best. This is just ugly.

Then again… The normal livery is awful as well. Those Chrome logos aren’t doing them any favours.

Oh, well that’s not exciting. Those wheel cover stickers are still incredibly ugly.

Special liveries are so not special anymore. The Gulf livery was amazing. Every other „special“ livery was so underwhelming.

For fun, to sell merch, for more press photos to go around with the sponsors on display when nobody else would be showing a McLaren car.

A chrome (color) livery because Chrome (sponsor) pays them to do it

I actually really really like it. The chrome plays off the orange bits really well, and I like how the black through running gives really good contrast to both the colors for once.

Ive seen some criticism of them not going full chrome, but it would look far clumsier if they did. Going entirely one strong color like orange made for some real ugly cars imo, was never a fan of the 18 onwards Mclarens. Ferrari makes the red work by contrasting it with the white or black depending on the season, its far harder with papaya orange but this one is good.

It’s understandable to still have the orange on the sides. Changing it to red pretty much gives free advertising to Vodafone.
