I worked in an industry where 55 hours was normal. Later moved to a company that many employees did 60 a week and some were full on 70-80 hours.

I felt it was life draining. I always championed for no OT, and hire more staff, but the majority of coworkers wanted the insane OT pay.

I changed careers to escape it, and enjoy life more. But some of those guys retired at 50…so there is that 🤔

There is a flaw in your logic. If consciousness is the deterministic interaction of everything leading up to your moment in time, then it will never be recreated unless you could roll back time and replay it for the exact consciousness to exist again. Every iteration forward will always be slightly different because all the while the universe is changing, decaying, expanding, leaving existance in a wink, etc

Consciousness is a hypervisor ilkusion.

The blinker speed changing, even with good bulbs, suggests to me that:

the unit that controls the blink is faulty or has moisture in it, or you have an intermittent ground short that is letting the circuit over draw current.

All my banking apps work fine, It’s airline apps that get a bit weird and I’ve had to use compatibility mode settings to get the airline apps to launch properly.

A friend had one. If he started it he had to drive it, because if he started it and then shut it off, it wouldn’t start for another 15 minutes

People can make a relationship work based on cooperation. If one partner has baggage from a former cheater and they say hey I’d prefer you didn’t hang out with your former sex partner it makes me uncomfortable, its then up to the other partner if their partner’s request can be accomodated or if its a deal breaker. I prefer winders for the front. No need for key in accessory position, and fine control.
