There are space shows with good writing. Babylon 5’s security officer is rather good. There are still murders and failures, but the rigor is enough for most people to believe. (I vaguely recall he even complained about not being allowed to do more.)

Perhaps you kid, but it is a hell of a lot harder to have your computers hacked and your files uploaded on a 56K modem (I am not saying hacking didn’t happen. I wonder if a tax on this would help? Like the government will reclaim 150% of costs associated with providing welfare to a company’s employees from the company. Clearly, include administration fees and a fee fee. Maybe with tiers. 10% of employees, 150% of cost. 20% of employees, 200% of costs. Increasing as it goes. Include the part time workers.

I have always read the “not official” as a “don’t sue us”, not a “we make shit up”.

Isn’t this nearly the idea of Florida? Retirees don’t need jobs, many don’t have children so schools don’t matter. Poorly maintained roads means off roading is convenient. Old people often like functioning emergency services (medical), but it is easier to die if the ambulance ride is long (sometimes a plus, don’t want to be a vegetable when being fertilizer is an option).

Yes! It helps if it is clear the bad guy has been doing things as well. (Aren’t there a few games where the bad guy moves locations with this, so if one is really fast, they can catch them rather weak.)

Given that, wouldn’t the next play to be to have a set of accounts each with a “reasonable” number of coins each? Then as confidence builds in the coin, these smaller positions can liquidate over time.
