You can cancel out multipliers that way, but not additions.

Do it on the clock, during a work day. Make sure you plan for nothing to get done that day. Make it optional: go to the field trip (expenses paid), or take a free day of PTO. Either way they get paid and, because you planned for it in the development schedule, don’t have to worry about potentially having to play catch up because of the day off later. That way it gives them the choice to go do something fun on the company’s dime or stay at home and recharge. Another thing to note: don’t limit yourself to game-related stuff like video game museums.

Go to an aquarium.

Go to a zoo.

Go to a national park if there’s one nearby.

Go to a natural science museum.

The artistic side of game dev takes inspiration from a wide variety of sources, not just other forms of media. Tbh, the most boring field trip I can think of would be to go to a movie theater or video game museum. I want to see something new and take inspiration from that.

Weighted Wildlife. They specify how much each one weighs on their site. I have an opossum from them and I love her. She’s one of my favorite plushies (don’t tell the others I said that though). They’ve also got some 5lbs dragons in the works.

Creep Cat Toy Company also makes some weighted plushies like the raccoon and opossum, and the weighted ones come with a zipper in the belly so you can, remove, or move the weighted bean bags around.

I don’t think either of you are wrong, tbh. I don’t think they’re completely wrong because it seems like, time and time again, the most outspoken homophobes tend to be caught engaging in homosexual acts themselves. At the same time, however, it feels kinda dismissive and like it’s shifting the blame.

No, there’s no guarantee that would have happened, and regardless, he still (presumably) burned down their house, dug up their dog’s bones, put the dog’s remains on display, and then murdered the victim, all because they were gay. That’s absolutely disgusting and it doesn’t matter if the murderer was closeted gay or not, he’s still a disgusting inhuman creature who went above and beyond to cause someone as much pain and grief as possible.

That’s… actually a form of dysphoria. I can attest from first-hand experience, wishing you were a woman is a form of dysphoria. You don’t have to feel sad to be dysphoric, having a somewhat persistent desire to be seen as a different gender is enough.

Somewhat. I’m more annoyed that my belly is more man-ish than woman-ish and is bigger than my chest right now. Now, considering how well… endowed… the AFAB women in my family are and the fact that I’ve only been on hrt for about 5 months, that’s gonna change. But… I feel like the “man belly” and lack of boobage contributes to me being misgendered despite all the people who know me saying I’m already basically fem-drogynous. It’s a struggle not to abuse my hrt meds and take more than I’m supposed to.

I’m 30 damn it, if I’d come out 10yrs ago I’d probably be done transitioning.

Edit: something I like about the furry community is how much body-positive art exists. It used to be that the furry community had the same issues with idealizing anorexia; however, nowadays furry art tends to have a wide variety of body types ranging from relatively typical to chubby, stocky, morbidly obese, etc. Very affirming and helped me learn to be okay with my weight, though I’m still kinda annoyed with how my body fat is actually distributed. >.>

Yeap, that’s how the placebo effect works. Your brain is really good at making things happen based on expectations. Granted, they could just be an asshole and thought alcohol/drugs would give them an excuse, but my understanding is that yeah, that’s the placebo effect at work.
