    • Improve the loading spinner so that it waits a tiny bit before showing. This means that the loading spinner will not appear on screens that loads nearly instantly. This should be a slight UX improvement as it should decrease the frequency of you seeing the loading spinner for a frame and then disappearing.

Might be related, when I scroll down the list of my own comments on my profile almost always a loading spinner will appear and not go away again. It will still remain on the list of my posts.

  • I think it’s how it is a b-movie that is actually good that makes it and other Tarantino movies so compelling. It is low budget fluff (or well, pulp) done on a high budget with more thought put into it than is incidentally apparent.

This question reminded me of how the Swedish movie Slim Susie put it. It begins in a movie theatre where they’re watching Pulp Fiction but the movie stops at the half way point because the theatre had only gotten the first film roll. To placate the audience the theatre owner phones his buddy to ask how Pulp Fiction ends: John Travolta dies, but at least the black guy survives.

I have a micro ATX case that itself is the cooler. Heatpipes transport the heat to the case walls and they have fins to increase surface area. It can handle up to 65 watt CPUs.

It’s not produced anymore. But with all the talk of the Gabecube I’ve been itching to make a new build with it. Unfortunately I have neither the money or the energy.

  • I mean, we do know that time slows down in a gravitational field . And it speeds up for and fast objects. We have to consider that with our GPS (and similar) satellites. They are basically just atomic clocks sending down their current time. They have already drifted from clocks on the ground by several seconds.

In terms of time dilation influencing expansion you should look into timescapes. If I recall correctly it is meant to explain the apparently accelerating expansion by time moving faster in emptier regions of space.

This stuff is just hard to study on a cosmic scale because we don’t know exactly where everything is in the universe. Building a 3d map of all the galaxies is super hard and in parts relies on correct assumptions about expansion.
