No, it’s an old school browser strategy game. You build a planet with mines for production and colonise more planets, build a fleet and attack other players. Looks simple on the surface but can be quite complex if you go down the path of a fleeter.

You can try now universe 5 which is running since last November and join universe 6 coming November.

It started with some users from there, but other than that it isn’t really connected. They benefited from their user base, the first universe had around 1k of concurrent players, universe 5 had around 400.

You can use Jellyfin with wireguard and still have what Plex does. Unless you want to run an open streaming service (which would probably be illegal in most countries anyway).

90% of Plex users probably don’t need what Plex does and would be happy with Jellyfin.

Don’t expose jellyfin to the internet and it won’t be hacked. But you are forced to make a Plex account, if you want to use Plex.
