I’m gonna have to respectfully disagree. Peaceful protest only gets you so far. This nonviolent stuff will get you killed.

Unfortunately, I also heard a couple dozen or so piss boys showed up to harass people.

You gotta build community where you live. Try to find mutual aid organizations around you and connect with those people. I made a post awhile back that was pretty much “Go make some friends”. If we want to live in a world without fascism and hate we have to start making a more concerted effort into how our communities function at the base level.

Welcome to this little corner of the internet. I feel you on not being able to just sit around and hoping it blows over. I had a rather traumatic epiphany back in 2019 that I wasn’t going to be able to sit on the sidelines while fascism takes hold. I feel a lot better nowadays despite everything going on because I started finding people in my local community who felt the same way and wanted to make tangible change in our lives and the lives of others.
