… What the fuck? Okay i know pigs should be turned into bacon as a general rule, but this is especially stupid. How in the fuck did they even get the messages but then get the wrong user name? It is more work to get the incorrect name!

Lay flat! I might not have a future, but like i wasn’t gonna have one of those anyway

Elfen lied. Not exactly the deep end, but i did kinda skip the casual part.

Nope! But i do have to work when the sun comes up, so unfortunately I’ll be out later
Grimar? That’s a rare pull!

Endings can kinda get to me. Not the end of a show necessarily, but the end of a story. It often happens at the end of a show, but not always. The best example that comes to mind is actually a video game called Season letters to Tomorrow (or something like that). Without spoilers you leave your home and it’s as sad as it is uplifting, and then you document the last day of a town before it’s destroyed. There are other endings that you get to document too, big and small, and all of them are framed as emotionally complex.
I think I’m just a nostalgic person, because ancient ruins and stories in that context also get me. Girls front line was sad long before the ending! Maybe it’s because i was born in the late 90s and i saw the world getting better before it started getting worse.
Just beat my second playthrough of I Was a Teenage Exocolonist, I’ll do a third soon. Accidentally found out about the secret mechanic on the first playthrough, but I’m very much looking forward to everything i missed.
Man DBzer0 really sucks. That’s the one place I’ve been mass banned from (although it is because there was a troll using my name, but they never even responded to an unban request), I should check if it applies to the ai dumping communities too.

It’s fun! There are a few mechanical things that are just better in dark days (people talk shit about pockets, but it’s the best thing that’s been added in years) and the mods hadn’t moved over when i played it last, but it’s generally a better experience.
Edit after looking for the newest update to BN: holy shit the mods. The mods have moved over, they are in a better place, they are more extensive, there is no reason to ever go back now.

Cataclysm dark days ahead. You think a low scifi world set in the close future where 5 (maybe more) apocalypses went off at once? The original developers did, sadly the new guys seem to hate the idea. Every update for years has focused on stripping the fun out of the game, it’s only a matter of time before they remove the zombies for being too unrealistic.

Stellaris wouldn’t be so bad if they finished the DLCs. I love Stellaris, but nomads clearly had missing parts that they are still fixing.

The combat never really matters. It’s more a narrative consequence rather than a mechanical challenge and it stays that way at least as far as i have played, and i can’t see it changing without the game just being insanely frustrating. Owlcat still hasn’t really learned how to make combat challenging without being overwhelming shitty, unfortunately.
That said i still much prefer everything owlcat has put out to BG3

People hate to hear it, but dnd is awful. The lore of the main setting sucks and the systems are horrendous. Pathfinder, shadowrun, cyberpunk, an original system altogether, anything else would have been better! Larian also failed the multiplayer, making it feel tacked on rather than improving on divinity.

I stand firm in the belief that the only sorta good Pokemon games are gen 4 and the originals, and even then it is a ‘good for their time’ kinda deal. The originals are highly flawed and i would never recommend anyone actually play them, but they did at least attempt to design an actual game. Gen 4 was the first generation that could be considered actually good mechanically and aesthetically, imo. After gen 4 the games almost universally stagnated where they didn’t actively get worse.

Once you clear the first planet you’ve experienced everything the game has to offer as far as I’m concerned

It’s way worse about that than Minecraft, imo. I find Minecraft to be exceptionally boring, but building is at least passably fun (or was before hytale completely blew it out of the water), but it feels like NMS doesn’t even give you a real creative outlet. From what I’ve seen even starfield is better than NMS for creativity, although i haven’t played starfield myself.

You know that’s not what was happening, right? The chud thought he logged into a different account and was trying to astroturf. Conservatives do this all the time

Man, the “think of the children” bullshit has really had the exact opposite effect they intended it to have, my foot reaction to this was to disapprove just because it was a law targeting kids

Welp. France is officially off the table for future American refugees it seems.
Well obviously, subnautica demands a deep sea invertebrate not a goat. That’d just be silly.
