Be civil. No harassment or brigading

Cite sources and clearly mark speculation

Safety first. Do not post if it risks harm or involves active investigations

No personal investigations. We do not investigate or identify private individuals (ex-partners, neighbors, co-workers). Focus on public events, closed or cold cases, or non-personal evidence such as objects or places

Live events: No live coverage of active crimes or law-enforcement operations. Live threads may be posted by moderators only for public, non-sensitive events (e.g. weather, rocket launches, official press briefings) and must use official sources with no speculation or private data

No politics-as-combat. Keep discussion evidence-focused

No buying or selling data, cracking tools or malware

Respect copyright. Quote briefly and link to originals

Mod discretion applies. Mods may remove posts or ban accounts to protect safety and legal compliance
