    Experimental Politics Community of Tomorrow

EPCOT was Walt Disney’s fascist utopia, where Uncle Walt would be in charge of everything and make sure it all went okay, without having to be bogged down in anything that would interfere with his unilateral power.

This is that, but for US news, with me as Uncle Walt. All the blatant propaganda accounts are banned. We can talk about politics without wading through a bunch of for-some-reason obligatory bullshit in order to get there.

    Enjoy.

    Rules

    1. No strawmans. If you say someone said something they didn’t say, as a way to prolong or “win” a disagreement without having to engage in a reasoned debate, out you go.
    2. Give citations or back up your stuff if someone asks you to. Have reasons for what you’re saying.
    3. No personal attacks. Attack the argument, not the person.
    4. No editorializing the title. Edits for clarity are okay.
    5. Obey the lemmy.world site rules and general decent-person behavior.
