Several local schools have already introduced policies banning or restricting phone use.

Cowards, this is why people say local politicians are useless. Why table it to then delay it?

    Calling them cowards is pretty ignorant. Do you know what consultations, stakeholders, and evidence they need to consider in order to ensure it’s enacted properly for the long term results they’re aiming for?

      Then vote it down, or better yet, don’t table it at all
