It’s called Adjustable Blocksize Limit Algorithm ( https://odysee.com/@BitcoinCashPodcast:2/ABLA_Explainer:2 ) and works on a slightly different algorithm, but it’s the same essential technology. The reason it’s good news is that it shows that Monero was on the right track (the blocksize wars were pointless) and the competing algorithm allows for both blockchains to test out and optimise future versions of the Dynamic Block Size technology.
