I took an oldish 500GB laptop drive that wasn’t otherwise useful and slapped it in a USB-C case for Ventoy and anything else I could possibly need. It has plenty of room for a portable “home” partition in addition to a full Medicat install and every ISO I could want.
I have a durable metal ventoy usb on my keys with portable apps basically a walking IT dept, I mean I am a solo IT/Dev and I’m pretty basic so…hmmm
