I’m slowly realising that I probably have some mild #LongCovid
Since having covid (now had it twice since 2022): iron deficiencies, breathing problems, constant asthma, and now a sudden allergy to some foods apparently.
My partner and I have been careful throughout the pandemic but clearly not careful enough at times (twice each) since “opening up”.
And though it could be far far worse, I feel pretty violated right now TBH.
If masks were anywhere nearly as effective as condoms this argument would make some sense.
Masks that fit well and are worn correctly, consistently, do work quite well. Most people don’t wear them, and half of the people who do wear them incorrectly.
Sure, but not like a condom. A well fit condom has virtually 100% efficacy rate.
I’ve had multiple condoms break.
Never got covid.
How do you know it was the masks without a control group? Your N is one.
There have been studies. I do not owe you a link to one.
That’s not what I asked. I don’t question the efficacy of masks. But you don’t know if you didn’t get sick because of masks or simply out of pure luck. Your experience has N=1. Just because your condom broke doesn’t make condoms less effective than masks.
