What’s the reason for Gentoo having so few distros based on him compared to other distro families?

It’s pointless to make a derivative distro if the base is already perfect.

If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.
