Sad to see this. The Ahigian and Andonian families are really great, smart people. I work with two of them in the film industry and they’ve been incredibly well-respected technicians since day one.
I only went there once, and it was when they were clearly in decline, but even then it set my maker nerd super geek senses afire. I wish there was a good reason to keep companies like this afloat, but I don’t know how that’s possible with cheap stuff being shipped directly from China to people’s doors.
