I didn’t want us to have to play for the community shield, because I feel like if it didn’t work out for us it would harm our morale and form for the start of the season, and all for a pointless joke of a trophy.

Plus for as much as I hate Man United, them winning means that Man City are denied the double.

So I’m content with this result. Sort of. I think a localized meteor strike would have been the best option. But oh well.
