@DanielLMcAdams

The position that may have cost him the presidency…

@Lukewearechange

I asked @RobertKennedyJr about his stance on the current situation regarding Palestine and Israel

    Data and polls are not showing that though…

    RFK Jr. was polling at the double digits, Jill Stein polls a bit above 1% or more, and Cornel West is below 1%.

    One major and difficult goal the Green Party tries to achieve is to reach 5+% threshold so as to qualify and receive public funding for the national elections.

    According to the Federal Election Commission, if a third party gets over 5 percent of the popular vote, they’re eligible for public funding in the next election cycle.

      The winner will be either Trump or Biden.

      RFK Jr.’s recent polling is 7% if I recall correctly which means he has a zero percent chance.

        You are right, if we follow the tends from the past elections; sadly people are born into the status quo of thinking that you can only vote for the duopoly.

        There are dozens of us that have abondoned the duopoly and it shall keep increasing as people are informed and learn of the new ways, esp. thinking outside the artificial barriers the status quo put the working class into.

        Thanks for the update on RFK Jr. polling!

        Edit: forgot to mention something 5% threshold

        Ah, if he gets over 5% the party should be able to recieve public funding for the next election cycle!

          When was the last time a third party candidate make it into office?

            Random reply, please bear with it hahaha

            You are correct in hinting at that possibility being low…;‘“not good like 1 out of 100”, “more like 1 in a million”, “So you’re telling me there’s a chance”[1]’, hahaha

            The dozens of us that keep dreaming will continue to walk down the ‘boulevard of broken dreams’[2].

            I hope more of us will continue to learn and see past the status quo constrains, But all I have to do is dream [3], to see a better future for the working class!

              Getting 7% of the votes literally works out to a zero percent chance of being president in this case.

                  Your post is stating that this position might have cost him presidency, not 5% vote share so he can get public money.

                  Next election Trump and Biden won’t be running so RFK Jr will be destined for irrelevance again.

                    You are right, then as an aside, 5% is a goal that the dozens of us that support 3rd parties are looking foward to!

                    Next election the machine will continue to push out more puppets for the duopoly, which tend to closely follow the status quo and help the owner class.

                    I do not think RFK Jr. may be forgotten if he breaks the record, of 5%, for 3rd parties.
