So… what? Did they claim this was going to have unaffiliated outsiders on it? I’m really not sure why this is even remotely newsworthy. (Genuinely confused, to be clear, if I’m missing something not in the article please let me know)
Previous one did and have been disbanded once they raised safety issues. Now it’s replaced with investors who have a financial stake in a for-profit entity, whose interest are diametrically opposed from the purpose of a safety board.
