I’m a rationalist; if this was any other dirtbag business person I’d want them to smell the urine scent of prison to remind them the next time it would be worse. American prisons don’t rehabilitate, they only threaten.
So because it’s Trump, he gets a lighter sentence? That doesn’t seem rational to me. I agree American prisons are horrible, but I see no reason to spare this particular dirtbag business person from it.
Only 30 days? Why not let him rot in prison through the whole appeals process like the vast majority of normal convicts do?
