    Because it’s an objective truth. We should talk about politics more, and people who support misogyny and bigotry should be made to feel bad about it. If it is impolite to discuss politics, the only voices you hear will be the impolite. It’s not impolite to be intolerant of hatred and oppression. That’s a false equivalence sold by the oppressors.

      Trump won’t be made to feel bad about any of his actions. He’ll never take responsibility for anything he’s done. He’s a relentless narcissist. The best you can hope for is to see him so thoroughly defeated that he gives up and walks away from public life (or gets locked up for a while).

      Otherwise he’ll never stop blaming others and playing the victim.

        I don’t expect Trump, or most conservative leaders to ever feel bad about what horrible people they are. You don’t get to that position with a functioning conscience.

        But reasonable people don’t talk politics, so it creates the illusion of conservative consensus.
