Taste is subjective. I like bitter drinks in general and thus also like beer. Especially when the beer has nuances beyond the bitter, which good beers have and American beers don’t.
I like bitter. Black coffee, dark chocolate, etc.
Just not the piss taste that seems to be inherent with barley/wheat/hops based alcoholic drinks. And don’t get me started on whiteclaw, just awful. Literally the only flavor of whiteclaw I like is the most bitter flavor because it overpowers the piss taste. Malted alcohol just fucking sucks.
No idea what whiteclaw is. And I disagree, maltiness can be very pleasant. But there are also very shit beers that I wouldn’t even touch when I’m in the middle of a desert without water.
