In what he described as an “emergency broadcast” on Saturday, conspiracy theorist Alex Jones claimed that his far-right news company, Infowars’, studios in Austin, Texas, might be shut down by federal authorities soon.

“This is going to be Infowars’ last show, because I learned yesterday that they were going to padlock the door and kick us out last night,” Jones said while on Infowars on Saturday.

On the same day, Friday, May 31, the news outlet published an article saying it might be shut down in 48 hours.

Newsweek contacted Infowars by email on Sunday morning for comment and any evidence of the alleged attempt to shut down the company’s studios.

Jones said that he spotted “guards looking at me weird” at the entrance of the Infowars building and believed that his company was going to be shut down.

Basically, the entire studio has been repossessed, has guards around the perimeter.

You can currently find clips of him breaking down and crying on twitter, and the whole broadcast is viewable on rumble, but I don’t have an x account nor am I going to post a rumble link.

He played out the end of the broadcast with, of course, ‘My Way’ by Sinatra.

God how I hope it’s true. I hope they take his cars, they take his home, literally everything this man owns. He deserves it. He knew exactly what the fuck he was doing, and now the feds have come to collect. He had plenty of chances, hundreds of chances to prevent this.

The judgments against him were in state court, the federal government isn’t involved at all, that’s just Alex Jones being insane.

He is an insane conman. He blamed a bowl of chili for not remembering basic facts about his children during his custody trial and behaved pretty insane during the defamation trials, too. He is great at dialing up the theatrics on his show to bring in the money, but he is also downright crazy.

Not gonna say he’s not a conman, but he’s also clearly not well

He’s shifting all the money that his scumbag supporters still give him over to his Dad’s company, I guess at some point he’ll just fold Infowars, and from then on become an “employee” of that company and continue as if nothing happened. I’m not sure why it’s even possible that he can still amass riches while owing 1.5 billion, but that’s the US for you.

Limited liability is a massive scam. It is supposed to protect people from honest mistakes while doing business. Instead it allows con men to shield their massive hoards of wealth from legal repercussions of deliberate fraud and wage theft.
