hello there, i really dont have anything else to talk about so this is what i’ll be talking about. Ngl, nowadays i dont hv any good ideas about videos for the channel, im trying to post a video atleast a week but that can also extend upto as far as 3 months lol. and this is also the “exam month” for me so yeah. and what is enter? ( im going to talk about it even if you havent asked) so i. have. started a video editor, yeah… well, there is not any video editing software which fits my needs, kdenlive, didnt fit, and olive’s development has been stopped so yeah, after all these i decided to just start my own. so yeah, this is what enter is, and you wnna know about the story behind the name “enter” ? doesnt matter, i am going to yap about it, so while thinking about the name, the very first thing i saw from my very own eyes was the key “enter” of my keyboard, and there it is LOL. and now if i think about it, we can do so many puns now, “enter, the FOSS editor” lol. and now you may ask why im starting from start instead of forking olive or some other project, reason being that i really dont know anything(the video editing stuffs, i have been programming so 4-5 years as of now), so that’s why i thought it’s better for me to start from sctach and build up while learning stuff, and in past 1-2 month i learned how opengl core profile, and now i can render a video on glTexture. YAYY. so yeah, that’s all about the enter. as of now it’s really nothing,

this is the base ui, it is going to change a LOT. also im thinking of something entirely different approch

as you can see, this idea resembles an average photo editing software, and it’s kinda looking promising, the vertical timeline instead of the traditional horizontal one, kinda looking forward to it. so that’s all it. I know that i have taken a HUGE project but hey, i aint backing off now. i want to compete with all the fancy video editors that are available in market, like sony vegas and adobe’s product, and i wish to achieve what blender did.
