    When I was young, I pirated Adobe apps because I was poor. That piracy by young artists is a big part of why there is an entire generation that uses apps like Photoshop and Illustrator in the same way they breath. We essentially drank Adobe along with the milk in our bottle.

    As I’ve gotten older and started to make more money I’ve also begun paying for applications, even ones that I’ve pirated in the past (ex. Zbrush). It’s good to support developers.

    This kind of thing though is why I still pirate Adobe products. Subscription models and intrusive DRM are pure poison.
