Lately I’ve been getting a lot of Big Bang theory shorts on Youtube. And I’m beginning to ask myself why I ever disliked this show. It has some solid jokes.
Sweetener, there’s way too much of it. And the majority of jokes are at the expense of the definitely not autistically coded character. Definitely not because the character will insist such to the camera and not because he wasn’t actually coded, cause he definitely is.
I also found a lot of the “nerd culture” felt like it was written by people who don’t get it at all. I’ve always thought of it as “a show for mothers of nerdy autistic kids to laugh at”
