When I feel the need to reply, I simply just say “Thanks for sharing.”
To me, that comes across as quite dismissive. Almost like you’re saying “I acknowledge that you’ve posted something” but then saying nothing about the content of the post. It’s far too generic.
IMHO, I’m down with it being generic. It’s a stranger from the internet. Not looking to chat. I’m just an upvote and a thank you.
I say “Good even’n madam, fine weather yes? Blessed day and good fortune”, cum and leave.
