I agree with you - there is a je ne sais quoi about erotica / porn from this era that you simply don’t find nowadays. And like you I’m able to masturbate to completion to woman’s breasts but find it almost impossible to do so if I focus on her genitalia. I’m glad I’m not the only one!
I’ve always appreciated more softcore content for that reason, makes it easier to appreciate the female form and it makes sense since what makes genitalia attractive at all is the person its attached to imo, how good the rest of their body looks.
