    …i stocked up on several hundred high-efficiency incandescent (short-life halogen) bulbs the week before retail sales were banned completely, which should last me about three more years despite their pitifully short lifespan compared to traditional (previously-banned) incandescent bulbs…

    …while LED lighting’s improved over the past decade and admittedly surpasses notchy-as-fuck compact flourescent bulbs, i can only hope that LED technology evolves further to offer less-abhorrent spectra by 2028, elsewise i’ll be seeking black-market imports after my reserve incandescent bulbs are exhausted…

        I have two right now, also a fancy one that basically looks like an incandescent bulb because of the shading in the glass.

        …yeah, and despite marketing to the contrary they’re still all crap at reproducing incandescent spectra, even the ultra-premium cree bulbs…
