Definitely! Like I said in the original post, it’s kind of a link between, say, Destination: Moon and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Entertaining, interesting, high-concept art direction. It has its cheesy moments but less so than your typical 1950s American science-fiction.

With your mention of 2001: A Space Odyssey, guess it will be fitting to watch this just before Solaris.
