    Well, that…and the electoral college. When states that have fewer people living in them than one or two major blue cities…it really helps virtually nullify the votes of large swathes of the population.

      Good. The USA is too large to be governed by NY, California and Texas. Empires fall because of central government, and the USA internally is absolutely an empire.

        What you’re saying is that relatively unpopulated area contained by arbitrary lines drawn on a map are more important than the far greater number of people living outside those lines because why? Square miles of rocks, dirt and trees are more important than actual people? Millions should be held hostage to the views of a few?
