Pretty sure the main reason was the “pro russian” stuff when the SMO had just kicked off and not the “genocide denial” which we were “guilty” of for years before the quarantine
That’s what I remember as someone who came here right after the Genzedong quarantine started. Up until that point Genzedong was THE best aggregated news/commentary community I could find which wasn’t parroting obvious western propaganda on the re-escalation of the conflict/SMO and other subjects too
