A leak from the Porsche dealer portal has revealed that the German sports car brand will stop production of its petrol-powered 718 Boxster and Cayman vehicles by October 2025. Porsche has confirmed that electric Boxster and Cayman models are coming soon, but this leak provides clues of an imminent launch.
NGL, I’d kinda like an EV Boxster. The petrol versions are so hard to do maintenance on with the engine location and this would basically negate that as long as they can keep it feeling and driving like it’s still got the soul of a Porsche.
