She just gets more ridiculous by the day. This is NOT how she looks. She shoots it with the ‘no makeup’ look trying to convince everyone she’s ’just showing up’. She’s missing at least half her body and her skin has absolutely no texture. I don’t know why it infuriates me but it does and everyday I get a little more angry. Her time needs to be up!

This is just a random suggested post for me so I have no context as to who this is or where this screenshot came from. However, it seems like your mood would improve if you started to ignore this person. There’s no reason to seek out any form of interaction with someone who makes you feel the way you described here unless you know them personally and I don’t think that’s the case. There’s nothing wrong with venting but that’s usually for things / people you are required to interact with. This seems voluntary and unnecessary.

You obviously don’t have to take my advice but I would encourage you to at least ponder the question “why am I paying attention to this person?”

Hi I’m a journalist (lifestyle) working on a story about the subject. The people on this page and the Reddit have helped, and continue to help uncover a the wake of damage this person may have caused. This wake may include plagiarism of BIPOC artists and writers, body dysmorphia triggering, taking opportunities from others via potentially deceitful practices. The posts here and mainly on Reddit have also led me to research a period panty brand that the subject is very involved with. I’m specifically looking into PFAS and the language brands use in their content to possibly justify levels of forever chemicals in their menstral products. A very recent study illustrates how PFAS (including short strand PFAS) can be absorbed by skin. PFAS can also cause more harm during hormonal periods for women. The EPA (under Trump) made significant changes to PFAS reporting. These changes are now getting looked at. I can imagine we will all hear a great deal about PFAS in the near future. I’m looking into why ALL of this ⬆️was overlooked by Canadian media. I’m also possibly presenting the information to a member of parliament to see if they can some how have menstral products regulated in Canada. *California is enforcing regulation law on menstrual products. If it weren’t for this group or their close examination of the subjects behaviors, I would have never looked into the behaviors of the subjects brand partners. I’ve received threats for discussing this on Instagram. I’ve received demand letters from lawyers and I’ve also may have received “what do you need to shut up” phone calls. Before YOU also try to shame and silence this group may I suggest you take a step back and understand often people gossip when something doesn’t feel right. (This is all my opinion and for education and entertainment purposes). Here is an article from this weekend. I can send you a copy of the full study if you have interest.

This forum is part of a greater conversation about influencers and the harm they cause others. If you’re on social media it’s nearly impossible to avoid these people. Sarah Nicole Landry, or thebirdspapaya, is involved with popular Canadian brands and has a penchant of popping up where you don’t expect it. So it’s not as easy as just ignoring her, as you put it.

Sarah has triggered countless people’s body dysmorphia with how she simultaneously filters away/draws attention to what she deems as less desirable features. She’s been made fully aware of her harmful behaviour and instead of changing she doubles down and silences anyone who dares criticizes her, no matter how constructive. Sarah also enlists the companies she works with in her deceit, such as Women’s Health and Reitmann’s. If influencing is a job why can’t customers provide feedback and ask for better? We were not even allowed to discuss Sarah on Reddit, which is why we’re here (many of the former Redditors were also blocked simply for liking less than positive comments on social media). It makes one wonder, what does Sarah Nicole Landry have to hide? What steps did she take to get a 6200+ person subreddit shut down, simply because she didn’t like what we had to say (we know lawyers were involved)?

Thank you so much for your advice and I understand your perspective of - if you don’t like it then don’t look - and I assure you I don’t look often but I believe people like this woman get away with scamming women because people just look away. She’s presenting herself as a product and then using that product to sell her lifestyle to unsuspecting women who follow her. They believe they can look like her if they just buy the things she sells but they can’t because she doesn’t look like this. It’s the modern day snake oil salesman and this one needs to be run out of town.

Fair enough. Like I said, I had no context initially and it struck me as odd. Do what you feel like you need to do.

Here from the random occurrence of this on my homepage too.

10 posts in a week and a sub dedicated to this woman is ‘not looking often’?

I agree with the original commenter. This seems borderline obsessive.

She doesn’t know you exist, so why put so much focus into her life?

Oh, Sarah knows we exist. She spends countless hours reading social media comments and removing/blocking anyone who disagrees with her (I was blocked for liking a comment on a brand’s Instagram post that simply stated she looked different on her own page, nothing more than that). Not only that, but she enlists her inner circle and brands she works with to do the same. Smash & Tess, Women’s Health magazine and Reitmanns all recently deleted or turned off comments on their collaboration posts (they don’t do this for other less polarizing influencers, yet they continue to partner with her for whatever reason).

Sarah also worked very hard to get her 6200+ snark subreddit page shut down and sent at least one journalist a bs cease and desist letter. This is not the actions of an innocent woman. You likely don’t realize it but Sarah is also being called out for plagiarism and stealing ideas from other content creators, some of whom are BIPOC. She said she would address this “head on” and never did. People like her don’t deserve to make millions based on lies and the only reason we are here is because she’s shut down all other avenues of criticism. Consider this Sarah’s Yelp page where people can leave reviews. She says influencing is a job, a “demanding career” actually, so why is she immune to feedback? No one else is. If you don’t want to see this content you’re free to block it from your feed.

This sub may, for lack of a better word, seem obsessive. But in short, the subs’ pictures and posts are recording evidence for Janette Ewen (see her post below).
