Ex marks the spot?
I found this marker at one end of the sidewalk of a drawbridge in Lewes, Delaware. There’s an identical one at the other end. Any guesses as to what it means?
Probably a surveyor pin. Especially with it being such a big project like that, odds are you want to make sure everything is measured from the same spots.
