I’ve been awarded gold over the years for various stupid comments, and I’ve never been able to keep up with spending it. I’m just wondering if there’s anything I can do with it (before I shred my account this month) that will hasten Reddit’s demise.

Haha, I’m definitely considering seeing what I can get for it as it has nearly half a million karma too, but I don’t want a spammer (I assume it’s all spammers buying them) to get their hands on my gold if I can do something more targeted with it 😈
Inviting spammers and other malicious actors onto Reddit would be bad for Reddit.
Alternatively, you could use some script to mass edit your comments and posts to replace with garbage.

I don’t know of any good scripts for that. The search results all lead back to subreddits currently private
