    Conservatives care about our kids and do not think they should have to pay for our wasteful spending.

    My generation benefits from this largess, so go ahead and pay if you want. But as a parent and grandparent I would prefer to see you spend this money on creating a healthy environment for you and your kids.

    But believe me when I tell you our generation has had the opportunity to save, pay off our house, pay off our car, have the kids move out.

    I still remember, life was a lot tougher financially when our family was young.

    But if you want to pay, go ahead. The government will never say no.

              reality is boomers had it good. they paid pennies for college. they paid pennies for houses. And they have the gall to call the next generation lazy.
