If anything curfews themselves are more of a 90s thing because your parents couldn’t just call or text you to come home. No it’s more just claiming superiority over current generations because their childhood was more ‘real’ or some shit. Same as people talking about how they played outside all day, how their parents beat the shit out of them when they were disrespectful, how they didn’t play video games, etc. These are usually followed with comments about how “the world has gone to shit” and “kids these days are so much worse.”
My wife and I are both 90s kids and none of this really resonated with us. This is a dumb meme and is hard to read.
