The only thing that gives me pause is that once it is uploaded, anyone could just start using it to make money. While I doubt my photo would make anyone money, it is still what I consider to be my best photo, and I am trying to be a professional photographer. Let me look into it a bit more, and I’ll get back to you. Btw i have a few other macro photos on my ig page if anyone wants that dm me.
That’s correct: if you wanted an NC exclusion, I would upload it to the NCCommons, but it would not be used on Wikipedia, etc. Whatever you chose to do is obviously 100% legit, no pressure. You may want to consider how having a photo out there on Wikipedia could be marketing for you as well.
