I have tried alot of launchers but never really settled on one that meets all my needs. I have also read all the threads on reddit about FOSS launchers.
My preferences:
- Multiple pages
- Widgets on home screen
- search function; app/contacts/ddg
The closest one yet is NeoLauncher, but the search function is not quite there I reckon.
Any suggestions?
How important is having app icons and pages for you? If its something you’re willing to compromise with then I would suggest mLauncher. Its very minimal but it’s almost entirely searched based. I wasn’t too keen on the idea at first but I have gotten used to it and it feels very fast and efficient overall.
I tried it now. I want the option of having widgets on my homescreen, I did not see that option. And from my point of view, the search functionality is not anywhere near Kvaesitso or Kisslauncher.
Same here, a very nice search launcher and doesn’t use almost any resources
