I wish we had less reliance on cars and more public transportation or light rail options. In Florida, to go 12-15 mi down the road to the other side of the city took 35-40 minutes and three highway changes. If I didn’t do that it would take close to an hour going by street only.
Absolutely ridiculous that you can drive an hour away from your house and still be in the same city in Florida.
I used to bike a lot more but the amount of brain dead people who would run me off the bike lane, not pay attention when they are turning is just too much.
Honestly it’s sad. I hate being in a car. I’d rather ride a motorized bike and enjoy the air than be stuck in a car
