Electric bikes have their own environmental and health advantages. However, riding for long distances – if you’re not a pro – or when planning to go off the tarmac, an e-bike is not the best companion. Before you look for a capable pickup truck – that’ll never be the first choice for a city commute

      That thing is dangling so low they could have stuck some rubber on it and called it a quad bike.

      I’m also not understanding “the trike’s 750W rear-mount motor ensures up to 1,400W of power”

        Probably continuous vs peak power. I’ve seen brands advertise this very unethically - Lectric has done this. “Ours is 1400W, the competition is only 750W!”

          Or advertising the peak in-rush current or whatever instead of the continuous allowable power? A 750W motor probably pulls 1400 watts for a split second as it starts up under load.

        At first I thought they were getting stuff wrong about the battery, but that later say 960 Wh battery.

        They do not specifically mention it, but I’m going to assume gear ratio?
