      If they have never been there but know it as “city of churches”, is that not an association?

          SO! fun fact ,my family actually helped found adelaide. And yeah, it was known as the “city of churches” from the earliest days due the fact it was comprised entirely of free settlers of many faiths - and each one had its own place of worship. It was also unusually (for the time) permissive in regards to worship.

          Does this still hold in a secular age? maybe not. But Jesus ain’t still roaming fucking bethlehem and it still holds association.

            The “City Of Churches” statement, whilst true was actually a deliberate rebranding - as in the early days of the colony, it was colloquially referred to as the “City Of Hotels”, as there were (and remain) a large number of drinking establishments relative to the population.

            History is fun!
