Pretty self-explanitory. I love Twilight, Harry Potter; and the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini! I can’t wait to finish the last book in the series and to see what Disney Plus does with the series. It’s gotta be better than that thing we don’t talk about. Lol. As far as Twilight goes, I’m team Alice. I won’t judge if you’re not, though. Haha. My favorite book in that series is probably the first, just because that’s the most mysterious. Favorite movie is probably Breaking Dawn 2, because I love Renesmee and I love/hate the battle at the end. Harry Potter is tricky. Love all the books and movies for different reasons, but my least favorites are Half-Blood Prince and Goblet of Fire. The ladder because insert the infamous “Dumbledore asked calmly” meme here and also, it just had a lot of unnecessary dragon stuff. And property damage. Half-Blood Prince is because it hardly focused on who the prince was. It was all about relationships and the romance. Also, the random destruction of the Weasley house made no sense to me. So anyway, what about y’all?
My favorites: Dragonlance, Discworld, and Wheel of Time
I don’t know if I would like Dragonlance if I first read it today, but it was my primary entry into fantasy after Tolkien, and a big part of why I started playing D&D. The party-based adventures were fun and all the dragons (chromatic vs metallic) were badass. I still think about those books all the time.
Discworld has just the perfect combination of humor and emotional depth, there’s nothing like it that I’ve found. I just feel so uplifted when I am reading Pratchett’s work. Not all entries are created equal (I liked the City Watch and Death books the best, personally), but all are charming enough to read at least once.
Wheel of Time is my #1 favorite, I just can’t get enough of the epic scope and the attention to detail when it comes to world-building and character arcs. Most interesting fantasy culture (Aiel) and character arc (Rand) of all time to me. Also, I like to lose myself when I read and Jordan’s prose creates vivid scenes in my mind’s eye. The series is like an old friend, I love it, flaws and all.
I started The Prince of Nothing series recently (I’ll share my thoughts when I get further along) and am excited to check out some of the other suggestions I see here.

Definitely, let me know if you ever want any specific recommendations, cause Dragonlance and Discworld aren’t exactly linear series (they’re mostly collections of stories in the same universe).
