Well, the good news is that Lemmy is tiny and memes posted here probably amount to nothing in the grand scheme of things at this point, but I’m scared to imagine what goes on on Reddit, Facebook etc.
Exactly. There’s also a ton of psyop misinformation here along the lines of what 4chan saw in elections from 2008 and on. Remember the Hillary stories about literally bathing in baby blood that people believed? Or the pedo pizza thing?
