Has there been any evidence that they understood things like generating lift? I’d have guessed that came WAY later. Or is this a drawing of some kind of paddle or something that has nothing to do with flight?
minus-square@PassingDuchylink3•4 months agoWomen to the left and right of that one appear to be holding crowns and laurel leaves (sign of triumph for Romans). So I assume the one you’re referencing is holding the winner’s sceptor for some kind of games this is possibly referencing.

Women to the left and right of that one appear to be holding crowns and laurel leaves (sign of triumph for Romans). So I assume the one you’re referencing is holding the winner’s sceptor for some kind of games this is possibly referencing.
No I think she invented the helicopter.
