    I’ve never understood this.

    Seems so impractical, compared to carrying knuckles, a gun, and a knife.

    What are you supposed to do, start with the knuckles and flip the thing open into gun mode if things go south? It’s incredibly fussy.

      It’s probably supposed to be concealed so you get to carry one thing. Either knuckles a gun or a knife, this allows you to not have to choose before you gool out at least.
      Granted if you think you may need a gun, why not just bring a real one that you can conceal. I don’t know.

      I’m thinking it’s mostly a weapon of intimidation, personally, but what I don’t know about pre-WW1 French gangsters fills libraries, lmao

        Seems like the kind of thing that might be created to circumvent a poorly written law. Like the Gandalf AK meme; ‘ANY knife under 6in is legal’ kind of nonsense.

        Amended: ‘ANY knife under 6in without a gun barrel is legal
