As someone involved in getting abortion protections on the ballot in Arizona, it’s absolute horseshit that no national org stepped up to help this movement in Arkansas because it’s a 15-week law and not 24 weeks. This shit is hard, these organizers need a lot of help at every stage. 15 weeks is way better than what the people of Arkansas are going to get in the alternative.

A lot of the volunteers that helped for the Arkansas initiative are understandably pissed… along with everyone who signed it. Particularly after our governor called 100,000+ voters “immoral and incompetent”.
